Regulatory Scientist – Your future position?


 


 


As a Regulatory Scientist based in Vernier, you will be responsible for performing analyses to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements. You will be part of the Product Safety Science Laboratories team and will report directly to the Product Safety Science Laboratories Manager.


 


In this exciting opportunity, your main responsibilities will be the following:


 



  • Act as an Analytical Expert: you will be analyzing fragrance raw materials, such as natural or synthetic ingredients and delivery systems by performing analytical tests to ensure compliance with regulations. Using your proven technical capabilities, you will contribute in adapting and developing analytical methods for current and future challenging regulations.


 



  • Lab Process Champion: you will be acting as the initial lab contact for specific operational processes and projects. For those, you will be managing the planning, lab operations and external communication in agreement with management.

     


  • Partner in solution with stakeholders: you will be involved and will actively participate in cross-functional projects. Your understanding of the business context and impact will be essential in driving our analytical support.

Your professional profile includes:


 



  • A University Degree in Chemistry or related discipline;

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience in Analytical Chemistry or relevant scientific area and/or regulatory affairs ;

  • Experience in Quantitative Target Analysis and Identification of Unknowns by Mass Spectrometry in an asset ;

  • Significant experience with High-End chromatographic techniques, such as LC-MSMS, LC-HRMS and GCxGC-MS is an asset ;

  • Strong analytical chemistry background in Liquid / Gas Chromatography and in Mass Spectrometry techniques ;

  • Strong sense of ownership;

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills;

  • Very good written & spoken English and French.
