We are recruiting an experienced Chemical/Process Engineer
 
In this role you will:
•Optimize chemical processes to increase their robustness by focusing on continuous improvement processes
•Support production processes to deliver volume and cost objectives while guaranteeing HSE and quality standards
•To be the process donor of the chemical process technology of one or more molecules
•Establish and support short, medium and long-term process development strategies to meet supply chain needs
•Support the transfer of chemical processes to other production sites
•Implement chemical production processes from lab to industrial scale
•Provide technical support for procurement projects (raw materials and/or new intermediates)
•Support projects by providing technical expertise (e.g. equipment sizing)
•Support the start-up of new facilities in collaboration with production teams
•Perform simulations on process simulation software, particularly for the design of installations
•Participate in process risk analysis as a technical expert
•Sizing new equipment and optimizing existing equipment

 

Qualifications

 

For this position


• You hold a master's degree and/or a doctorate (PhD) in chemical or process engineering


• You have several years of professional experience in an industrial environment in the field of chemical process development and/or production process support.


• You have a good knowledge of the main unit operations used in fine chemistry on an industrial scale such as distillation, crystallization, mixing, filtration, drying and chemical reaction engineering.


• You have a good knowledge of thermal process safety, risk analysis processes and technical concepts commonly used in risk analysis.


• You have a good understanding of production costs and supply chain processes.


• You have experience in working in multidisciplinary teams, with good listening and communication skills. You are fluent in English and French.
