We’re currently looking for a: Sr Device Technology Transfer Engineer We are looking for a Device Technology Engineer, with the following requirements: • Degree or related advanced studies in Engineering, Science or related discipline, with substantial experience in an electronics manufacturing environment - preferably within the medical device or consumer electronics industry • Minimum of 5 years technical hands-on experience in related field • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes based on small components / parts and high speed automatic assembly with corresponding process controls • Sound approach of risk management techniques, equipment qualification and process validation. • knowledge and practice of Good Manufacturing Practices, Certifications in Lean Manufacturing and / or Lean Six Sigma is a plus • Ability to communicate, present and interface effectively with suppliers and internal customers as well as a solid teamwork approach and experience in dynamic cross-functional teams • Advanced Negotiation & Communication skills coupled with commercial business orientation and financial acumen • Strong problem solving and organizational capabilities coupled with proven leadership skills • Fluency in English is a must If you possess the above mentioned profile then you are the one we want to meet for staffing our Product and Process Quality Department in Philip Morris Products S.A., based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. As a Sr Device Technology Transfer Engineer you will be accountable for the coordination of all efforts involved in the transfer of new electronic products and will represent the Technology Transfer authority on projects you are assigned. Specific responsibilities: • Define/review requirements for the product life-cycle oriented industrialization of RRPs and related suppliers as well as third party manufacturers of electro-mechanical devices and components. • Provide direction & support towards the industrialization teams as well as the suppliers to ensure that the defined product requirements are met while short, mid and long-term strategies of the respective suppliers are aligned with the overall commercialization plans of RRPs. • Build and maintain knowledge on quality practices around the related manufacturing processes and closely support product quality and productivity improvement initiatives. Communicating technical aspects of the product transfer and product quality needs to those not familiar with the process. Ensuring that products and/or processes are compliant with company quality standards. • Lead/coordinate product and supplier characterization activities through close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams including business entities such as procurement as well as technical functions such as product development. • Provide technical guidance & support for the establishment of material and electronic component manufacturing specifications & related testing methods as well as equipment qualifications and process validations.
