We are looking for a mid-level web developer to join our team!

The ideal candidate has experience providing development and enhancement of web applications. You have a passion for clean and scalable code. You have an eye for detail and an appreciation for good UX/UI.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-cultural team of developers


• Work with the product owner to continually improve the product quality


• Interact with our global team of schools and sales staff as well as central teams


• Contribute to software architecture and help shape the development process


• Cooperate with our design team to create beautiful UI


• Create task effort estimates to support effective planning


• Write excellent code!

• 3+ years of professional experience including 2+ years of web development experience


• Experience with CSS and HTML


• Experience with Javascript, using jQuery and Angular or React


• Experience with REST services and JSON


• Experience with C# ASP.Net and knowledge of SQL


• Understanding of MVC, OOP and SOLID design principles


• Understanding of agile software development and the scrum process


• Experience using source control, e.g. Git or SVN


• Ability to work in a team and pair with another developer to create solutions


• Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal

• Experience with AWS, Azure or Heroku


• Knowledge of Sitecore


• Knowledge of Node.js


• Understanding of database design and RDBMS principles


• Knowledge of Salesforce


• Experience with Jira and Confluence

B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
