Mission
Pictet Asset Management’s Technology & Projects department is looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead the QA strategy for all of its products (applications and software packages developed in-house) and take ultimate responsibility for ensuring product quality.
You are an experienced test manager in the banking and finance industry, preferably in asset manage-ment, and you have excellent communication skills, are able to work independently and rigorous in your approach to testing. Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate test management experience, including in Agile mode.
You will work closely with developers, business analysts, architects, testers, product owners and other stakeholders throughout the application lifecycle, to coordinate test campaigns, manage faults, track and report on test results, troubleshoot and coordinate bug fixes. You should have a strong under-standing of SDLC processes and the related QA lifecycle.
The successful applicant will be based in Geneva.
Responsibilities
• Defining and owning a test strategy and test approach for Pictet AM that is in line with the overall IT Strategy and transition to Agile.
• Providing leadership and technical expertise within the test automation and quality assurance framework.
• Ensuring that the development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines and best practices set out in the QA strategy
• Focusing on continuous QA improvements, including usage of the appropriate testing tools, test-ing techniques and test automation.
• Preparing test plans for various systems, products and application streams.
• Analysing business and technical requirements to create test plans and test specifications.
• Working with business analysts and system architects to create a requirements coverage matrix for driving the test effort.
• Developing and maintaining test artefacts, test data, test cases, tests scripts and test scenarios.
• Validating the test approach for each product/stream with the project manager and business stakeholders.
• Organising and facilitating a review of test plans with project stakeholders.
• Working closely with business teams and users, where necessary, to define and clarify business requirements.
• Coordinating test execution by local and remote test teams during test campaigns.
Profile
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the domain of test management across multiple projects
• Strong knowledge of Scrum methodology and practices
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with all levels of management and peers within the organization
• Knowledge and experience with JIRA and X-Ray
• Experience with backend test automation (API & webservices)
• Experience with SQL and Oracle DB required
• Experience with automated testing techniques
• Demonstrated ability to investigate and analyse problems
• Thorough knowledge of test methodologies is essential
• Prior working experience in Banking & Finance is essential
• ITSQB or other Testing certifications highly regarded
• Knowledge of TDD/BDD highly regarded
• Experience with Portfolio Management Systems, Order processing and Trading platforms is highly regarded
• Ability to prioritize work and tasks under pressure
• Fluent in French and English is mandatory
• Must be resident of Switzerland or willing to relocate
