Main Responsibilities / Activities

• Leads purchasing Team to ensure consistent and coordinated deployment of purchasing strategies within area of responsibility.


• Responsible for purchasing of different production sites


• is able to deliver improvements in areas such as cost, terms, service level, and quality to meet overall business goals and objectives


• Delivers year over year cost savings through actively challenging supplier pricing, revising specifications, initiating cost savings opportunities and implementing new negotiating strategies


• Develops, supports and drives continuous improvement initiatives


• has a focus on total Supplychain Managmenet and improves cooperation cross departmentals with R&D, PPS, Production in regarding Lean Manufactering


• Is actively manageing supplier portfolio


• Develops a cost to design strategie with supplier and R&D, to reduce costs and make sure used technologie is up to date

Basic Requirements

• Master in supply chain & purchasing


• Experience in managing a purchasing department in an international environment


• Experience in strategic purchasing activities


• Very good IT knowledge (ERP System)


• Advanced English and German skills
