Within Pharma Finance, this position is a 12 months development opportunity to support analysis and decision-making in Technical Operations Biologics Drug Product Manufacturing Finance based in Kaiseraugst. As an FP&A Controller, you will provide financial and controlling support to the entire Manufacturing Operations in Kaiseraugst & Basel DP. You will have the opportunity to impact business decisions and gain knowledge on manufacturing and standard costing processes. Furthermore, you will be involved in local/global finance and process improvement projects.


Your main tasks will include:



  • Ensure compliance with financial records and internal controls with corporate and divisional requirements (FGAR, Pharma Manual, ICFR)


  • Consolidation of Site Financials, support the Finance Business Partners and the Finance Head with financial reporting and analysis

  • Ensure in time and quality execution of all financial processes (Business Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Month End close, Reporting of actuals and Standard costing)

  • Manage the Standard Costing Process and be accountable for accurate standard costs at the site

  • Inform proactively at early stage finance and operational stakeholders on any material financial or operational deviation. Initiate corrective measures where appropriate.

  • Ensure integrity of financial systems and master data, make the best use of tools and systems (SAP, BW, Frame)

  • Support PT Lean Initiatives and local/global process improvement projects

Who you are


You are a highly motivated student currently finalizing your Bachelor's degree or in your Masters in Business Administration or a Finance related field. You have an ambitious and business mindset with a high degree of curiosity and passion, looking for continuous improvement and ready to challenge the status quo.


Moreover you are/have:



  • The sense of ownership & results. Ability to work independently, dedicated and open-minded attitude


  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Great team player and able to work with tight timelines and under pressure

  • Understanding of financial systems and processes with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Fluent (written and oral) in English and German
