Job Description


We are looking for an experienced SDET for Collector, which is at the core of our technology stack.


The position entails a high level of responsibility within the R&D team. Your contribution will have a significant impact on the satisfaction of millions of end-users of our technology. You are highly motivated and result driven, you love working as part of a team in an agile environment, constantly learning and enhancing your skills and you are open to feedback. You like being accountable and have a high sense of product ownership.


As a SDET your job is to ensure that the software we install on millions of endpoints will never cause any issues. You do this by understanding the interactions between our technology and the ecosystem in which it operates and writing code to automate tests across hundreds of test machines.


Job Duties



  • Give guidance in terms of QA to the software development teams and participate actively in the implementation of automation framework and increasing automation test coverage

  • Actively discuss with the Product Owner to design the acceptance criteria and to prepare, ahead of test execution, test plan and automation scripts

  • Select and assess proper testing tools and utilities

  • Write code to automate the testing of new and existing features

  • Run manual and automated regression tests

  • Takeover the third level support cases and manage the issue resolution process

  • Triage and sort bugs according to their potential impact

  • Analyze performance bottlenecks and stability issues

  • Participate in the product release delivery process

  • Actively participate in the agile ceremonies (e.g., Daily Stand-ups, Iteration planning, Iteration Review, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinements, …)


Qualifications



  • BSc in Computer Science (or equivalent)

  • 3+ years of proven QA experience in software development

  • Deep knowledge of C# (our automation framework is developed in this language) and good programming experience

  • Deep experience in test automation

  • Experience in an Agile environment

  • Professional-level English spoken and written

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Knowledge of C, C++ and Windows internals are a plus
