The position

As a temporary “Junior Business Controller” you work within the Group Business Controlling Team and have a crucial supporting role in day-to-day business. In this context you process data of projects relevant for project controlling, prepare analysis of financial performance, create ad hoc reports and solve a variety of business requests. Your close and daily interaction with business stakeholders makes the job very varying and interesting. This temporary assignment lasts 6 to 9 months dependent on your skills. Possibility for contract extension is based on performance. In your role you work in close co-operation with our Group Controlling and Finance department.

Your Responsibilities

• Project controlling and project administrative task (maintain project masterdata)


• Monthly preparation of regular financial reporting


• Prepare and implement material for monthly book closing (accruals, cost allocation)


• Review and approval of commercial contracts


• Ad hoc analysis and creation of new reports on demand


• Work on selective projects upon request and based on experience


• Your reporting line is to the Head Business Controlling

Education

•   Controlling, finance or economic academic background
  

Professional Requirements & Skills

• Graduate, student or young professional


• English fluent, German is an advantage


• Solid experience with Microsoft Office applications and especially with Excel


• Know-how in SAP is an advantage

Personality

• Quick learner and team player


• Good analytical skills


• Ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and deliver on time


• Flair for story behind the numbers and figures


• Good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills
