This position will be located in the Roche ERP, reporting to the Analytics & Reporting HQBW Team Lead. The main objective will be to provide application management and support, ensuring operational stability and effectiveness of one or more applications. Provide content knowledge to the management and support of the full lifecycle of solutions from execution of new projects through operation to retirement.
 

In this position you will:

• Identify functional work packages, planning in terms of deliverables, work assignment and dependency, etc. Overall in charge of the solution design and system configuration to meet the business requirements


• Provide functional quality checks to ensure specifications adhere to standards, content rich and consistent. Functional team management in terms of monitoring deliverables, progress, reporting status, action item management, etc.


• Develop Functional Specification review plan in terms of peer/business review, coordinate with business to ensure their availability etc. Validate the Change requests in order to analyze, assess impacts, work with business to get approvals


• Act as single point of contact for input of Change requests, Risks, Issues and Key decision, status update to IT Project Manager. Support IT Project Manager in terms of planning for future phases such as Test, Transition and Deploy at the appropriate time before the start of those phases


• Apply procedures and defined standards to meet current business, customer and technical requirements and leads others in resolution of problems. Innovates and optimizes processes and methods within the domain to meet system or user requirements and develop new functionality

For this position, you bring the following qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience in computer science, software engineering or similar field, preferably with experience working in the pharmaceutical industry in a global environment


• 5-9 years of professional IT or other experience preferably within multiple technology or business domains and 6-7 years of experience in SAP BW as well as 2-3 years of experience SAP BO, Tableau


• Experience with BW modeling and Hana modeling


• Strong knowledge in ERP modules in relation to various Business processes


• Knowledge in new technologies, BW4/Hana, SAP Analytics Cloud, Advanced Analytics, Embedded Analytics on S4/Hana is a plus


• Strong experience in Global Project as an Analyst – understanding the functional side of business and translating into IT language to get the deliverables completed on time and within budget


• Experience in running Medium to complex Projects, handling various teams, stakeholders, IT partners and handling Projects delivery within Time and Budget


• Enthusiastic and curious to engage in New Technologies and new ways to learning to accommodate in the Agile world of Roche


• Fluent in verbal and written English, any additional language skills are an asset (German) and availability to travel when required and reasonably flexible working hours to collaborate with other regional/global time zones
