Supply Chain Planner Lead, Drug Substance & Drug Product

Job Description


Responsibilities
In this position, you will develop supply and inventory plans based on dependent Finished Goods demand, inventory targets and CMC activities. This includes but isn’t limited to:
• Ensure demand and supply alignment through Supply Chain Planning and understand main drivers impacting this process (demand changes, capacity, inventory targets, CMC variations, Regulatory implementation windows)
• Develop and maintain a 24-month supply plan on a monthly basis, translate this plan into production requirements for internal and external manufacturing sites, monitor the execution against this plan and escalate any concerns to management
• Drive the development of inventory targets for the assigned products
• Minimize risk of inventory obsolescence though inventory analysis and perform scenario analysis in support of different business needs (product life cycle management, impact of demand changes, contingency plans…)
• Serve as Global Supply Chain representative on one or more product, lead a matrix team across the Supply Chain organization and serve as the primary point of contact within the function
• Develop plans and contingencies for ensuring stable supply during the introduction of new products and/or product lifecycle changes
• Lead continuous improvement projects to drive expanded capabilities and improve the efficiency of existing processes

Qualifications


• At least 8 years working experience within the Biotech/Pharma industry with a strong proven experience within Supply Planning where you acquire strong working knowledge of the product lifecycle
• Experience with Supply Chain and Manufacturing planning tools (Oracles, SAP, Agile PLM, Hyperion…)
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills enabling you to articulate recommendations and key decision points to senior management in English
• Strong Excel skills
• Demonstrated experience reducing complex subjects to key points.
• Exceptional team player and used to work in Matrix Complex organizations
• Proven experience in developing a strong network across the company as well as with external partners


Education


Bachelor or Master Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration
