Senior Manager External Manufacturing (m/f) 100%

Your main responsibilities include:

• Accountable within Global Strategic Purchasing Team for the category External Finished Dosage Form (FDF) to strengthen purchasing processes for supply


• Supporting Global Strategic Purchasing with Suppliers evaluation and managing supply and business review meetings


• Ensuring adequate forecasting of FDFs (manufactured at the external partners), securing capacity and preventing delays or shortages in the supply


• Support operative procurement for assigned CMOs on operational supply issues


• Manage and monitor supplier’s performance and scorecard


• Perform regular business review meetings and actively drive continuously improvement for supplier’s activities


• Responsible for price negotiations of annual purchasing volumes per assigned products and suppliers


• Responsible to implement and harmonized supplier contracts agreements


• Budgeting and monitoring of global annual purchasing volumes of FDFs based on sales indication


• Responsible for achieving cost saving targets of the global purchase (direct materials FDFs) according to the management goals

 Your profile:

• University degree in the relevant field


• Profound knowledge in the pharmaceutical field, GMP practices, regulatory affairs and change management


• Minimum 10 years’ experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing and negotiation within pharmaceutical industry


• Minimum 5 years’ experience with CMO management and in cost saving project management


• Excellent knowledge in English, both spoken and written, German is an advantage, additional languages would be an asset


• Proven leadership skills


• Reliable, result oriented, stress resistant and able to set priorities


• Team oriented and able to work in cross-functional work environment


• Profound knowledge in SAP APO & ECC


• Willingness to travel minimum 20%
