The Solution Architect is part of the IS Supply organization and will be part of the team responsible for delivering and supporting local applications. The main responsibility of the Solution Architect is designing and maintaining the architecture of applications based on needs from projects and changes, as well to take responsibility for developing and realizing a long term view of technical, solutions in relation to the IT landscape in the area.

Aufgaben :


- Acts during projects in different roles - as for example scrum master, lead developer, technical lead, lead applicaton developer
- Takes responsibility for the overall design of the application and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements
- Defines the technical IS solution and ensures alignment with other modules and surrounding IS applications through cooperation with IS Solution Architects, IS Domain Architects, Functional Analyst and IS support teams
- Engages in requirement engineering to decide which requirements are covered by available standard functionalities, for which functionalities enhancements are needed and for which functionalities workarounds are accepted
- Reviews the outcome of the work provided by contractors
- Communicates technical specifications to the developers and technical proposals into business processes
- Ensures technical specification is aligned with the quality assurance strategy (in cooperation with application manager)
- Supports in incident and problem resolution when technical expertise IS required
- Is consulted, gives advice and supports the installation of new IS solutions/ services, or the changing of existing IS solutions/services
- Creates and maintains documentation of integrations landscape


Anforderungen:


- Extensive experience in some of the technologies commonly used in Business Applications (MUST have in .Net, PREFERRED in Java, MSSQL, Oracle, SAP, SharePoint, O365 toolset etc.)
- Strong Software Development background since the role means as well hands on in software development
- +5 years of Solution Architecture experience
- Degree in Computing Sciences or equivalent (University, University of Applied Sciences, Advanced Technical College)
- Experience with both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall project methodology and practices
- High social competence, team player, excellent manners, customer orientation
- Organized and analytical, proactive behavior
- Able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities
- Strong mindset & ability to organize, coordinate and plan
- Willingness to work on international scope is required
- Excellent communication skills with engineers and non-IT customers
- Very good communication skills in German (C1) and English (C1)
