. Lead local and GBS purchasers, resource planning and task allocation
. Develop team and members, secure performance
and workload management
. Control cost center allocations and internal charges
. Coordinate with Strategic Buyers, PMO, Controlling, TMC, Central Accounting, IM&S teams
- Purchase Order placement and exeution control
. Prepare and place Purchase Orders for direct and indirect materials, services and spares for the LBU projects and non-project related requirements
. Build tools and processes to secure timely Open Order Management tasks
. Secure solidity (complete, correct, compliant) of Purchase Order conditions and Frame Agreement contracts, PO template
. design and implement effective processes and ERP application from Purchase requisition to goods reception and payment
. secure compliant application of ABB Group SCM, Divisional and BU guidelines / orga interfaces / tools, . harmonize SOX and TOA processes for multiple Business Units
- Performance management
. KPI planning, monitoring and reporting: PO issue time, Change Orders, OTD, SOX, Cost reduction, Controlling, NWC
- Claim workflow and roles
. claim DB to setup, substantiate and secure (Supplier) claims are issued and closed timely
- Degree in materials management or business administration preferred.
- More than five years of relevant experience in manufacturing, supply chain management,
- Experience in negotiating, implementing and monitoring purchasing agreements with demonstrated leadership responsibilities
- Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze and problem solve strategically
- High professionalism and integrity
- Computer literacy with working knowledge of various software applications (ERP systems)
- Successful track record of developing suppliers
