- Provide regular market intelligence and specific market studies, evaluate key indicators and market trends and translate these into business opportunities
- Analyze, plan, negotiate and realize co-operations in line with the BU strategy and guidelines
- Draft, negotiate and manage contracts for licenses and co-operations for various product groups
- Ensure continuous relationship with related persons in partner organizations
- Co-ordination with all involved internal and external stakeholders
- Initiate and pursue measures in cases of infringement of ABB (and/or ABB Turbo Systems Switzerland) IP rights
- Provide superior support to internal customers in various aspects, e.g. strategy development, business case analysis
- Master's Degree in relevant field, ideally in economics or engineering
- 3-5 years of work experience in business development
- Demonstrated technical know-how and/or affinity
- Experienced and comfortable in dealing with senior level leadership, e.g. BU management
- Self-driven, motivated and decision focused
- Broad interest and fast learning in technical and commercial aspects
- Fluent English & German skills are a must
