Project Manager – marine

The purpose of this position is to deliver SBC direct projects at a regional level. Projects to be delivered on-time, to the customer’s satisfaction and on budget. A priority of the role is to ensure the safety of the engineering teams and sub-contractors ensuring all relevant H&S processes are followed. Communications skills, information management and influencing skills are necessary to deliver projects in a timely manner at planned gross margins, leveraging tools, processes and best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ownership for financial performance of projects. Monitors financial performance on a regular basis and reviews available to spend versus actual. Regularly updates cost to complete and reports accordingly.


• Provide accurate commercial forecasts and reports on current projects


• Management of customer’s delivery requirements


• Maintains customer’s satisfaction at acceptable levels, and resolves customer satisfaction issues.


• Reviews project related customer feedback and takes appropriate proactive actions.


• Conducts regular project progress reviews with customers & stakeholder


• Ensures the availability of tools, equipment, and materials required for a project.


• Actively supports the implementation and compliance of productivity enhancing processes related to project delivery, taking ownership to implant these in his or her own scope of responsibility.



• Lead and manage projects team in the effective adoption, implementation and compliance with policies, processes, procedures, and business best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree or equivalent higher education qualification.


• Project Management Certification


• English language (spoken and written) essential, other languages especially German and French, a distinct advantage


• Experience in building control systems.


• 5 years of Project Management experience with projects above 0,5 milion EUR


• Significant communication and interpersonal skills
