Seeking a part-time (40-80%) junior legal counsel to assist the legal team on a wide range of challenging topics related to the decentralized technologies we are developing, as well as reviewing agreements and corporate work.
You will join a professional and diverse team in the space of crypto and decentralized technologies. This role is based in Zug, Switzerland, and you will work with team members located in Zug and around the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assistance to the legal team on all matters, including applying existing laws and compliance standards to future technologies
Draft and work with processes to efficiently have into place framework contracts for provision of grants to collaborating teams
Reviewing and support on commercial agreements (e.g. software development agreements and NDAs)
Preparing meetings of the Foundation Council
REQUIREMENTS
Masters of Law student or graduate
Familiarity with or a strong interest in the Web 3.0 movement, blockchain and other decentralized technologies
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new subjects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Being organised in your work
An open personality and an interest in collaborating with team members
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English to a professional standard
A PLUS
Holder of a Master degree in Law, preferably Swiss law
Practical experience working with the crypto / decentralized technology space, and open source, privacy-minded communities
Fluent in German to a professional standard
