To support our Digital Media House within the Digital Transformation and Innovation Division, FIFA is looking to recruit an analytical and flexible
Product Manager
Your duties


  • Management of products related to FIFA Digital Platforms (FIFA.com, Official FIFA App, etc.)

  • Develop strategic concepts for web and mobile communication, based on new technology trends, tools and expectations.

  • Take ownership of assigned products, present concepts and obtain buy-in from the stakeholders.

  • Responsible for project resource allocation, risk management, project priorities, and communication to program management.

  • Collaborating with the internal team of product owners to coordinate the development, maintenance and evolution of FIFA Digital backend platforms

  • Planning, prioritising and overseeing the development and content of the FIFA Digital Communications content management system

  • Seamless and efficient integration of data from FIFA’s database and third-party sources

  • Optimising the presentation of data with a special focus on the “live match” experience

  • Provide management with forecasts of project deliverables, validate and communicate project status reports to the Program Manager and project stakeholders.

  • Manage day-to-day activities of the project.

  • Coordinate activities of the team to deliver project activities according to the project schedule.

  • Manage implementation plans in conjunction with third party providers.

  • Support internal stakeholders to understand digital needs, analyse and support possible integrations with existing and new FIFA Digital Platforms.

Our requirements


  • Bachelor Degree in computer science or a related field, or relevant experience

  • Minimum five years of including requirements gathering, implementation, QA/UAT and deployment activities

  • Proven experience in online content management systems

  • Firm sense of accountability, with solid project management and communication skills.

  • Experienced in Agile software development methods, documentation/wiki and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

  • Strong attention to detail with a sense of pride and ownership over the quality of the product.

  • Strong interest in digital media topics and awareness of the latest technology trends.

  • English speaker mandatory, German and other languages also an advantage.

  • Good knowledge of international football both at a club and national level.

  • Flexible as working hours include some evenings and weekends

  • Willingness to travel occasionally
