To support our Tournaments and Events Division, FIFA is looking to recruit an analytical and independent
Senior Technical Services Manager
Your duties


  • Overseeing the delivery of technical services at FIFA tournaments

  • Developing future tournament requirements and minimum standards

  • Setting minimum standards, while remaining flexible when possible, encouraging efficiency, innovation and sustainable practice

  • Validating and augmenting of existing stadium facilities in order to meet requirements. These include: power; heating, ventilation and cooling (HVAC); water, waste and sanitation plumbing;

  • cabling and containment; pitch and broadcast lighting; event audio systems; CATV; giant screens; temporary buildings and structures (tents, cabins, bridges, platforms etc); cleaning and waste management

  • Coordinating with the local organisation team the implementation of technical services at FIFA tournaments

Our requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or engineering field, or Master trade/vocational qualifications with significant practical experience

  • A minimum of five years’ work experience in a technical services related field

  • A minimum of two years’ work experience in a technical role, within a world-class sports event and/or a top class football club and/or stadium

  • Direct experience in one or more of the following areas required: Energy, Overlay Construction and design, Audio-visual and Stadium Operation Services

  • Fluent in English, additional language proficiency preferred

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (incl. MS Project); AutoCAD, BIM 360 familiarity (or similar)

  • Ability to work under pressure and endurance

  • Flexible, open-minded that enjoys teamwork and collaboration

  • Ability to learn quickly and to work independently

  • Mindful of quality, adherence to standards, deadlines and budgets

  • Willingness to travel regularly, and sometimes for extended periods
