Responsibilities & Profile
Your responsibilities
Prepare and review US income tax returns, tax equalization calculations and tax projections for individuals
Communicate with individual taxpayers, as well as HR and Payroll contacts at our corporate clients
Prepare and review correspondence with the US Internal Revenue Service and State tax authorities in relation to tax notices and/or audits for expatriates
Participate in arrival and departure tax meetings for expatriates, as well as data gathering meetings for the preparation of individuals' tax returns
Assist our GMS professionals in conducting tax research relating to expatriate employees and with other special projects
Take part in a variety of projects, for example, preparing quarterly payroll calculations and global compensation gathering and reporting
Your profile
At least 3 years of experience in US (expatriate) tax in an international company, preferred in a consulting company or Big4
Professional qualifications necessary (US lawyer, IRS Enrolled Agent or equivalent)
Aptitude for technology and used to dealing with competing priorities
Excellent communication skills, fluency in English is a must as the majority of written and spoken communication is in English
Strongly preferred to have working fluency in either German or French languages
Flexible and able to work independently
Energetic, responsible and dedicated person with an eye for detail
