Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. Medical Communication Manager EMEA


The Medical Communication Manager EMEA is a key role in ensuring a comprehensive medical communication to all internal and external stakeholders. He/she is therefore responsible for external and internal medical information requests. In addition he/she is vital for congress planning and scientific writing. Importantly, he/she develops strong relationships with the EMEA medical and business team as well as with our country organizations.


In this role you will:


Responsibilities



  • Participate in all aspects of Medical EMEA operations

  • Build strong relationship to EMEA MSLs and commercial-teams to support their needs

  • Actively participate in congress planning and execution of the medical congress strategy

  • Medical writing: provide input on/drafts publications/ abstracts/ reports/ medical reviews and medical training materials

  • Medical education: Deliver training to relevant internal and external stakeholders as required

  • Conducts physician visits and certification trainings as required (online and local)

  • Medical information: Provide accurate and timely responses (oral or written) to requests from prescribers as well as patients

  • Support development of medical/scientific materials (Brochures, FAQs etc.)

  • Review materials for scientific accuracy

  • Participate in competitive intelligence analyses together with global teams

  • Work together with agencies, vendors and other Novocure departments

  • Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, local and international rules and regulations

  • International travel may be required (up to 20%)


Your Profile



  • Advanced scientific degree, PhD or similar is required

  • Initial industry/Medical Affairs experience is a plus

  • Experience in medical communication (industry or agency) and oncology is strongly desired

  • Experience in scientific/medical writing with excellent oral and written communication skills

  • You are selfdirected and able to complete projects with limited supervision

  • You get energized by making a difference for patients suffering from brain cancer

  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook

  • Comfortable with occasional afterhours and weekend availability

  • German and English language fluency are a must, any other language a plus
