Your team:
You’ll be working in the WMPC Client Orders UI Technology Team in Opfikon. WMPC Client Orders are responsible for the central order management suite of applications for Securitized, Structured and Treasury Products, for the Wealth Management business globally. The agile team consists of developers, business analysts, QA engineers and project managers, working together across several regions and timezones.
Your expertise:
You have:
– large-scale enterprise, object-oriented design experience
– knowledge of distributed computing and low-latency, multithreaded solutions
– strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
– strong web user interface development skills (10+ years), including expertise in multi-threaded programming in modern web technologies
– relevant experience of complex order routing platforms
– knowledge and experience of financial products.
– strong communication skills, to both technical and non-technical audiences
– applied solutions to cater for non-functional requirements including stability, capacity and scalability and manageability
You are:
– imaginative and creative with emerging technologies and an ambassador for test- and behavior-driven development
– able to improve older code bases, as well as apply modern best practices to new projects
– curious and collaborative, comfortable working independently, as well as in a team
– the go-to person for the latest development innovation
– fluent in English, German is desirable
