Senior Business Analyst

Your role:



  • Drive and coordinate the delivery of requirements definition with stakeholders and support IT implementation for the strategic solution for Intercompany flow of funds monitoring and reporting Intragroup Engagement Management (IGEM)


  • Perform detailed analysis and document business requirements specifications and support work-stream lead to deliver key work products


  • Facilitate resolution of conflicting stakeholder requirements to ensure delivery


  • Review, analyze and challenge current data sourcing strategy and reporting process


  • Work in close collaboration with IT and the strategic work stream to define the target infrastructure design for the strategic intercompany flow of funds reporting and monitoring tool


  • Collaboration with the respective businesses to improve the quality of financial and balance sheet information and propose improvements to data and process


  • Define data requirements to support strategic monitoring and reporting


  • Assist business and strategic work streams in defining user acceptance criteria and tests


  • Support testing participants in investigations and follow up on issues with Business, IT, Stakeholders and Senior Management


  • Maintain documentation of project deliverables

Your team:


Group Treasury is responsible for the efficient management of UBS's financial resources and Group Asset & Liability Management (GALM) is the trading business that manages UBS's balance sheet portfolio risks. You will be working in a business transformation team responsible for the implementation of the Group Treasury change initiatives, which is actively driving our innovation and transformation agenda. We are a very dynamic, engaged and result-oriented team, and we are passionate about delivering high quality change services within a demanding and challenging environment.


Your will focus on review, design and implementation of the strategic intercompany flow of funds tool. We are the team within GT/GALM Business Transformation for the change initiative responsible for the implementation of the liquidity and balance sheet metrics which are critical for Group Treasury to manage the financial resources of the bank and report to internal and external stakeholders


Your expertise:


You have:



  • Five to ten years of business analysis experience


  • In-depth experience with banking operations infrastructure


  • Previous business analysis experience in Finance and Treasury in the financial services industry


  • Familiar with key liquidity concepts and measures across businesses and products


  • An understanding of what it takes to ensure successful implementation of complex process and systems


  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills


  • An understanding of the risk infrastructure in UBS will accelerate the activities and highly beneficial


  • The ability to juggle multiple deliverables simultaneously



You are:



  • Able to facilitate and drive issue resolution and act responsibly and analytically in the event of stress or pressure


  • A strong and effective communicator (written and verbal), comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels


  • Known for ensuring project timelines are achieved


  • Able to deal with changing requirements and challenges


  • Detail oriented, structured, organized, methodical


  • An organized individual who is able to prioritize activities and follow them through to completion


  • Eager to solve complex problems with multidisciplinary teams


  • Good understanding of Treasury regulatory requirements LCR, Internal Stress testing incl. modelling


  • Proficient in English and German (other languages considered a plus), both oral and written


  • Highly skilled in using MS Office products, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint and Word
