Your role:
Are you a motivated self-starter? Do you know how to take care of details? We're looking for someone like that to perform controls with an independent mindset including the:
–\tdevelopment and design of controls prior execution (e.g. application of risk-based sampling methodology and description of control scope and content)
–\texecution of controls or risk assessments on established or new businesses/processes to identify potential/emerging material risks
–\tinitiation of remedial actions and tracking their timely resolution
–\tcollaboration with other risk control functions and competence centers to further develop an effective control framework
–\tpartnership with client-facing staff and business support to continually improve our risk control environment
–\tpreparation of periodic management reports and assistance with regulatory reporting and inspection, as well as audits
–\tprovision of expert guidance on the development of relevant policies and control documentation
–\tparticipation in Monitoring, Surveillance & Controls (MS&C) stream initiatives where required

You’ll be working in the Monitoring, Surveillance & Controls (MS&C) Client related Business Conduct Monitoring team in Zurich. We are mandated to independently identify, assess, mitigate and manage compliance risks across divisions in the area of (i) Cross-border (incl. fiscal topics), (ii) Suitability and (iii) Client related Conflicts of Interest to evaluate the appropriateness of procedures and guidelines.
Your expertise:
You have:
–\tat least 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management or audit; whereof ideally 2-3 years in the covered areas of Cross-border business conduct, Suitability or Client related Conflicts of Interest
–\tsolid knowledge of regulatory requirements in the covered areas
–\tproven record-keeping abilities
–\tanalytical skills to critically verify and challenge relevant documentation
–\tgood writing skills
–\ttechnology proficiency, including Excel

–\tproactive and able to work independently
–\tfluent in German and English
