Technical Account Manager / Junior Project Manager

For our international customer in Geneva (Fortune 20) we are looking to hire a Technical Account/Project Manager to assure communication and coordination for infrastructure related projects.




General requirements



  • 2-3 years of working experience within a similar assignment

  • Solid technical understanding with some hands on experience in digital technologies

  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure related technologies

  • Ability to gasp customers’ needs and coordinate with the technical teams

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field


Main responsibilities



  • Convert business requirements into technical needs (GPO settings, software deployments, hardware validations, networks)

  • Plan and execute changes ( alone or with other teams)

  • Follow up and report on progress

  • Build new systems as required.

  • Interact with 3d party vendors for support


Other responsibilities



  • Provide advice and guidance to ensure successful ongoing usage

  • Design and develop innovative approaches to customer requirements

  • Deliver web based training to user groups to support organisational adoption

  • Function as a frontline technical resource for “best practice” and informal customer questions

  • Engaging as a customer advocate to ensure speedy resolution of customer issues/requirements

  • Engaging with Product Management as the customer advocate on product roadmap discussions

  • Maintain current functional and technical knowledge


Qualifications/Key Requirements



  • Successfully managed customer engagements to completion and customer satisfaction

  • Excellent analytical skills & problem solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems.

  • Exceptional verbal and written organisational, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Must be customer service oriented and believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability & Initiative.

  • Demonstrable success in thinking strategically, executing tactically while providing consistent and high levels of customer satisfaction and retention in a fast paced environment.

  • Competitive & competitively aware. Proficient at explaining strengths & vulnerabilities.


Technical skills



  • Good understanding of windows environments and how to implement business needs in windows

  • Basic understanding of network concepts (DHCP, subnets, VLANS)

  • Basic understanding of (Citrix environments, virtualisation environments)

  • Familiar with group policy management, Windows OS, scripting VB, PowerShell

  • Strong L2/support background

Languages



  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

  • Any other language is an advantage.
