Main duties

• Join team working on Proof-of-Concept based on a Semantic Web language to support completion of PoC, and assist in design and implementation of end-solution based on PoC outcomes


• Design and development of full-stack solutions, based on a Java backend and React frontend


• Strong collaboration with the product owner and other team members in order to provide robust requirements and specifications


• Ship high-quality, thoroughly reviewed code on time; support software in production


• Actively participate in regular Scrum ceremonies


• On-call responsibilities 

Your profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a similar field


• 5-7 years web application development experience (Java, Spring, JavaScript ES6, HTML/CSS, npm, node.js, webpack, Oracle SQL)


• 1-2 years Solution Design or IT Requirements engineering experience


• DevOps knowledge (scripting, Jenkins, Docker, SaltStack, OpenShift)


• Familiar with Agile software development methodologies


• Strong work-ethic, able to work independently, able to prioritize tasks


• Communicative team-player


• Excellent verbal and written skills in German and English
