Manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures to enable sourcing execution.
Essential Responsibilities:
Proactively manage supplier portfolio (Material Master Data, PO, order confirmations, Rolling Plan, Delivery Plans, technical & commercial support for supplier)
Follow-up missing material & change notifications, keep a close communication with planning, production and project management teams on material availability
Strong communication skills in German and English are a must
Keep a close communication with sourcing to promote, ramp-up & stabilize BCC suppliers
Identify and support cost out activities in the area of procurement
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with several years of experience in Procurement).
Experienced with SAP and Business Objects
Technical or commercial background with higher education in supply chain
Candidate should be able to work accurate and diligent with strong negotiation skills
