Role Summary:

Manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures to enable sourcing execution.




Essential Responsibilities:



  • Proactively manage supplier portfolio (Material Master Data, PO, order confirmations, Rolling Plan, Delivery Plans, technical & commercial support for supplier)

  • Follow-up missing material & change notifications, keep a close communication with planning, production and project management teams on material availability

  • Strong communication skills in German and English are a must

  • Keep a close communication with sourcing to promote, ramp-up & stabilize BCC suppliers

  • Identify and support cost out activities in the area of procurement


Qualifications/Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with several years of experience in Procurement).

  • Experienced with SAP and Business Objects

  • Technical or commercial background with higher education in supply chain

  • Candidate should be able to work accurate and diligent with strong negotiation skills
