Role Summary:

This Finance role will partner with multiple functions in a fast-growing business (30%+/year) and will act as the FP&A lead and Operations analyst for the manufacturing site supporting the GSC finance manager. The analyst for the Eysins site works closely with the Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance leadership teams to provide financial visibility for the factory as it expands to multiple shifts and builds capacity for product lines growing 50%+ per year.




Essential Responsibilities:



  • Key business partner to Cell Therapy CFO, site leader and GSC functions in leading planning cycles (Blue Print, OP), and monthly reporting to help define quarterly, annual priorities for the business and factory.

  • Lead financial activities for monthly and quarterly pacing/closing, and provide strong leadership and analytics for QMIs, blueprint, Op Plan setting.

  • Support and lead capital allocation decisions to maximize ROI for investments across the supply chain including VCP investments, Regional manufacturing expansion and new product launches

  • Provide Management reporting on Variable Cost productivity (PPV, DMI, Labor, etc), helping to develop risk mitigation plans and driving simplification

  • Lead analytics around distribution productivity; Inbound/Outbound and duties. Tracking efficiencies in transportation modality, expediting, and budget overages.

  • Working with Global costing analyst; maintain processes around effective product costing strategies, and ensure consistent data governance across inputs to construct and maintain Inventory standard costing and margins

  • Partner with broader Supply Chain Finance team to drive simplification initiatives

  • Ad hoc support to help operational teams address high impact operational risks and opportunities (CAPEX, fulfilment, procurement, …)


Qualifications/Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and relevant financial work experience; OR high school diploma / GED and several years of progressive financial work experience


Desired Characteristics:



  • Experience working in a global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner

  • Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP) or any other programs preferred

  • Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma

  • Strong PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications such as Oracle, Business Objects, etc. Strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (pivot tables, Vlookup, etc)

  • Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change

  • Clear thinking/problem solving: able to successfully lead projects/process improvements within operations finance function; able to quickly grasp new ideas

  • Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations

  • Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others
