Your main responsibilities:

• Lead complex product development projects in close collaboration with our customers


• Bring projects from a feasibility study into mass production market


• Manage the critical path of the project and key project risks, make sure that deadlines are achieved and decisions are made when needed


• Techincal customer support and consulting


• Collaboration in multidisciplinary project teams


• Report to customers and company management regarding project progress and milestones

Qualifications:

• MSc/PhD degree in physics, engineering, micro engineering, or equivalent studies


• Excellent communication skills with customers and fellow employees


• Experience in project leadership with international teams


• Broad technical understanding in optics, mechanical and electrical engineering


• Experimental knowledge to design and realize new prototypes and products


• Strong problem-solving skills


• Ability to think strategically when planning, managing teams, and managing products


• Creative, critical and analytical mindset


• Ready to travel


• Good knowledge of English (proficiency), German is advantageous
