Sales Engineer (m/f)

Reporting Line: Directly to Vice President Sales & Marketing

Description of role: You are responsible for acquiring projects and driving sales by generating new leads and promoting our products in existing and new markets.

 

Your main responsibilities:



  • Acquisition of new customers worldwide 


  • Collaboration with external sales representatives


  • Organisation of and participation in trade shows

  • Marketing support (ads, newsletters, print material)

  • Market research & feedback for product management


Qualifications:



  • Must have technical background (MSc or equivalent)

  • At least 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in optics

  • Ability to identify new customers, build up & maintain relationships

  • Ability to understand customers' technical requirements and suggest solutions

  • Passion for sales, friendly personality, well organized, autonomous and prepared to travel internationally

  • Excellent knowledge of English, good knowledge of German, other languages advantageous

  • Good working knowledge in PowerPoint & Excel
