What you'll do


The role owner is responsible for maintaining the Jira and Confluence environment, improving the current Jira setup and evaluating, installing and configuring new add-ons and functionality.
Coordinating Avaloq release (also other satellite applications like Crealogix, DWH, CGCalc, etc.) testing activities between Business, IT and Release Management, is also part of this role.
Alongside the operational and technical tasks this function requires the ability to answer many questions regarding code development and the software change process.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Jira/Confluence Administration and Enhancement

  • Maintenance of Jira Add-ons such as EazyBI, Xray, Jira Service Desk, Profields, Structure, Apwide and ScriptRunner

  • Jira User Training

  • Coordination and Communication of Testing Activities and progress between Testers, Developers, Release Management and upper Management.


The skills you'll need


We’re looking for someone with minimum 2 year of Jira/Confluence administration experience and a background in Software Testing in the banking and/or Finance industry. Java, Oracle, Tosca or Avaloq experience is an advantage. Additionally an Atlassian Jira Certificate and/or ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate are an advantage.

We’ll also expect the role to demonstrate:



  • Good understanding of Jira and Confluence tool administration

  • A comprehensive knowledge of testing activities and techniques

  • Knowledge of established software development methodologies such as agile and waterfall delivery methods

  • An innovative mind-set and the problem solving skills as well as the ability to decompose complex problems and perform root cause analyses

  • Skillful communicator with excellent ability to build relationships at all levels and communicate well with a wide range of Stakeholders, internal client groups and employees

  • Proven ability to think and act commercially

  • Demonstrates the ambition and the ability to inspire others to achieve goals/objectives and the discipline, organisation and perseverance to deliver outstanding customer service

  • English spoken / written fluent
