Once approved for sale, MosaiQ™ will be the first fully automated solution for blood grouping, quickly and comprehensively characterizing both donor and patient blood, improving patient outcomes and eliminating the need for expensive and time-consuming manual testing. MosaiQ™ will also undertake all mandated serological disease screening tests required for donor blood. Quotient has over 30 years of experience developing, manufacturing and commercializing transfusion diagnostic products. The company’s operations are based in Switzerland, Scotland and the US.


Job Description



  • Perform routine Quality Control testing of incoming material & intermediate

  • Perform solution or buffer preparation

  • Ensure the flow of documentation / sample within the entire life cycle of the sample (receiving, testing, archiving) for all sample entering in the laboratory

  • Record data in test records and other relevant documentation to provide a permanent and precise record of all work carried out to ensure compliance with specifications

  • Handle compliance records such as Out Of Specification  investigations or non conformity as required

  • Review and update procedures, as required to ensure compliance

  • Assist to the implementation of measures to ensure continuous improvement of processes

  • Perform activities associated with QC testing such as stock management, Environmental Monitoring System check, cleaning, calibration

  • Exercise vigilance to ensure that all testing equipment are under appropriate qualified / calibrated state

  • Follow and support in compliance of defined health & safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

  • Act as a support technician for entire QC department


Qualifications



  • Bachelor degree in Biochemistry, biology or equivalent professional apprenticeship

  • 2 years’ experience in GMP environment, preferably in QC laboratory

  • Experience in QC testing, products preparation and documentation management

  • Analytical and coordination/organizational skills

  • Effective time and task management skills

  • Eagerness to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment requiring high flexibility

  • Adaptation skills

  • Proficient verbal and written French, understanding of English
