Independent control function, of the Board of Directors Risk Committee, that provides timely assessments of Credit Suisse’s credit exposures and practices related to the management of credit risk
Responsibility for the mandate from the Board of Directors Risk Committee and the maintenance of organizational independence from the business units, credit origination, sanction, and administration functions

Execution of continuous and periodic risk-based review programs for all portfolios in Switzerland through a combination of Cycled Review, Continuous Monitoring and Targeted Review activities in order to evaluate the quality and transparency of the credit analysis and ratings assigned by the Bank for regulatory and capital purposes
Evaluation of activities of lending and transaction support personnel in Credit Risk and Front Office, ensuring compliance with policies, approvals, monitoring and risk assessment and review credit risk practices including CS Credit Rating, Transaction Ratings and adherence to relevant policies
Identification of credit exposures with potential credit weakness and any relevant trends that may affect collectability and existing and/or emerging issues and assessment of the effectiveness of credit risk management
Identification of portfolio trends at the sector/industry level and provision of an objective assessment of the Switzerland portfolio to senior management and the Board.
You Offer
Min 5 years of experience in credit risk
Comprehensive understanding of Credit Ratings and Transaction Ratings
In-depth knowledge of Wealth Management, Private Banking and Investment Banking products
Good understanding of regulations and of counterparty credit risk will be an advantage
Graduate degree in a relevant field of study
Strong negotiation and solution oriented skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
Ability to handle a significant and diverse workload
Ability to accept accountability, assume leadership and demonstrate initiative
