Logistics & Procurement Analyst – Ocean & Airfreight

What you will do!

• Work closely with the Logistics/Supply Planning/Export and Import teams to support operational queries and manage supply chain issues (e.g. crisis management)


• Provide consultative advice and training to the internal business network as a subject matter expertise on Ocean/Air Freight


• Support the annual tenders for Ocean Freight and Airfreight through coordination with the different stakeholders and spend analysis


• Implementation of the new yearly contracts and compliance reviews


• Identify metrics, tools and process to optimize sourcing, supplier activities and efficiencies


• Supplier relationship management and measure and manage overall performance of suppliers


• Work closely with suppliers to drive key initiatives such as Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability


• To continuously improve ways of working and optimise procurement activities

Who you are and your qualification!

• University Degree


• At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in international shipping or freight forwarding;


• Solid Industry knowledge of sea freight is a MUST


• Experience in managing large international accounts


• Senior stakeholder management, both internal (across hierarchies and divisions) and external (with suppliers, customers and consultants)


• Previous experience of and involvement with RFQ and Tendering processes


• Excellent communication skills (English


• Strong negotiation / influencing skills


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Strong Excel Skills and ability to work quickly with large amounts of numerical data


• Pro-active and positive team player


• Fast learner and self-driven
