Safra Sarasin depends on the enthusiasm and commitment of every one of its employees worldwide.DivisionCOO Asia and CreditFunction/PositionCredit Analyst – Lombard AssetsLocationGenevaFunction/Position objectivesWorking in cooperation with other credit teams analyzing underlying Lombard assets and formulating recommendation for lending rules and strategy. Maintenance and development of models and databases for the team. Handling of large amount of data and providing accurate analysis/reports. Taking initiatives to improve existing processes. You are able to prioritize and deliver within set deadlines. You will also work with numerous areas of the bank in order to form a good understanding of i) products on which Lombard lending is provided and ii) the bank's processes.Responsibilities

  • Implement of new monitoring and credit risk models

  • Help maintain data quality in IT systems and participate in “change” or IT projects

  • Perform a thorough risk assessment of all underlying assets in Lombard transactions

  • Monitor market movements and news on asset classes and analyze potential impact on Lombard Portfolio

  • Participate in review and update the bank's List of Lendable Assets (Loan to Value or "LTV" list)

  • Formulate new LTV rule proposal for Team Head and Credit Committee

  • Maintain an on-going working relationship with other units of the Bank such as Trading, Products, Front Office, Legal & Compliance Department

Profiles

  • Master in economics, econometrics or finance

  • 1 – 3 years previous experience in the financial / banking industry (previous experience in credit/risk and/or asset management considered a plus)

  • Strong analytical skills and excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel (VBA and MS Access skills considered a plus)

  • Willingness to learn, Team-oriented, commitment, flexibility and adaptability

  • Fluency in English, (French and/or German considered a strong plus)

  • Swiss or European passport only
