Global Continuous Improvement Leader for Creation & Development (flexible location)

 

 

Global Continuous Improvement Leader – Your future position?

As the Global Continuous Improvement (CI) Leader for Creation & Development, you will be responsible for introducing & supporting CI in the Creation and Development organizations in both the Fragrance and Flavours divisions. You will be an integral part of the new CI Centre of Excellence within Givaudan Business Solutions (GBS), driving the successful adoption of continuous improvement in these important areas of the business.

In this exciting role you will lead:

 

CI Expansion into Creation & Development:

• Develop and execute a long-term plan for the introduction of a Continuous Improvement mindset and methods into the Creation and Development functions


• Actively develop CI resources in the functions to cascade and deploy CI practices more widely and ensure the successful incorporation of Continuous Improvement into the ways of working


• Partner with the functional leadership to build capability in Continuous Improvement by delivering training, coaching and certification.


• Partner with the functional leadership to drive performance improvement by supporting the development of improvement programs and portfolios, and by  assessments

 

You will also be part of a team that together will:

• Share good practices across the organization and promote their successful adoption.


• Develop & maintain the body of knowledge pertaining to Continuous Improvement (Tools, Methods, Processes, Standards and Procedures)


• Drive the development of new knowledge and services, and improve the existing knowledge and services through internal Voice of Customer and external Benchmarking


• Ensure consistency and standardization of the CI content within Givaudan


• Plan, co-ordinate  and deliver Continuous Improvement communications


• Monitor and report on the impact and content of the overall improvement programme at company level, and the project portfolios at functional, divisional and regional levels.


• Participate in the definition of the global CI roadmap

Your professional profile includes:

• University degree in a relevant technical or business discipline


• Fluent in English


• A minimum of 10 years of industry experience in Continuous Improvement, with significant experience working with research, development and commercial functions


• Good understanding of business processes and functional policies


• Significant experience in design, development &  application of continuous improvement methodologies and programmes


• Experience in leading global transformation programs


• Advising, Training and Coaching Skills


• CI certification an advantage, ideally Master Black Belt
