Head of Retail Operations

Define and develop new strategy to raise the Zegna retail standards, to deliver an ultimate retail experience to customers. Ensure the development of guidelines and new tools to achieve excellence in the operation activities of the stores worldwide. Guarantee an effective integration between retail and e-commerce channels, in accordance with the new omnichannel service model.

  • Promote innovation and new performance measurement culture within retail departments, gathering continuous feedback from regions;

  • Partner with IT and suppliers to develop new analytical and performance measurement tools to improve store reporting and metrics;

  • Direct and drive innovation through Retail Information Systems, in order to simplify activities and increase efficiency;

  • Direct the management of retail policies and procedures and implement updates to boost retail innovation, meet the needs of the business and maintain compliance with all retail guidelines;

  • Coach and work with Retail management to develop new retail operating procedures and to resolve store operations issues;

  • Define and develop with Retail Experience department an integrated delighting strategy - food&beverage, fragrances, music, props, packaging, etc. - to ensure a new customer experience within our stores (in partnership also with CRM, Visual M, Style);

  • Define the new omnichannel service model in partnership with E-Commerce department, to ensure an integrated Retail Development strategy implementation.



  • At least 8 years of Retail Operations experience

  • Excellent knowledge of retail innovation projects and perspectives (technology, systems, processes)

  • Time and process management abilities

  • Continuous improvement oriented and disruptive approach

  • Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate and build respectful working relationships

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Excellent management, analytical, communication, and presentation skills

  • Ability to manage a diverse group of individuals, lead change and inspire work toward a common goal

  • Track record of establishing and implementing processes and executing to a clear

  • Fluent English, other languages a plus

  • Availability to business travel
