Operational Risk Officer

Your tasks & responsibilities



  • Identify, analyse and follow up on improvements of business processes and controls

  • Maintain and upgrade ICS for internal financial reporting and external certifications

  • Monitor regulatory developments with respect to ICS

  • Take responsibility for ISAE certifications

  • Establish and maintain the process documentations (incl. embedded controls) and their associated risks in consultation with business units

  • Support in Audit Management

  • Participate in specific projects

  • Support the further development of the operational risk framework employed within all Leonteq entities worldwide

  • Investigate operational risk events

Our requirements



  • 2-4 years in a financial institution or consultancy firm

  • 2-4 years’ experience in risk management/control or audit within the financial service industry

  • Academic degree

  • Affinity towards IT/Project Management

  • Fluent (spoken and written) in German and English

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Proactive, dynamic, independent and reliable

  • Detail oriented and persistent
