For our group Petrochemicals and Refinery within the Business Unit Separation Technology in Winterthur/Switzerland (Zurich area), we are looking for a


 


Sales and Application Engineer


Petrochemicals and Refinery (m/f)


Your tasks


In cooperation with our process engineers you develop technical solutions for the design of separation columns for distillation, absorption and extraction units for Petrochemicals and Refineries. You incorporate your solutions in commercial proposals that are discussed and negotiated with our clients on site, where you are supported by our front sales organization in the related country. The willingness to limited traveling (approx. 20%) in Europe is required for this job.


 


Your responsibility includes the process design of separation columns for refinery, the preparation of tenders in respect to all technical and commercial requirements as well as contract negotiations with our international clients. Project teamwork with process engineers, project managers and product specialists, acquisition of new clients and participation in fares and symposia is completing your job for us. Your office location will be Winterthur, Switzerland.


 


Your profile


For this interesting and demanding function, we are looking for a customer-oriented individual with Master degree in Chemical Engineering and some years of professional experience in the Petrochemical and Refinery complex directly or executed project for such complex.


Good communication skills combined with a team player attitude and high job dedication are expected. A good command of German and English, spoken and written are essential, additional languages are appreciated, in particular French.
