Referenznummer: R-25351The jobholder plans, steers and controls allocation of our entire Jewelry and Watches allocation in our global production network. The Director of Production Network Planning is responsible to plan for economically optimized capacity utilization of internal and external manufacturing network to ensure agreed availability of our products in terms of service, cost and quality. At the same time insuring that the production networks at all time are able to deliver the quantitative and qualitative services the consumer require. Engaging with the Strategy teams and Product teams the Director of Production Network Planning ensures that the strategic horizon is aligned with the business needs and enabling our strategic directions.



Additional the Director of Production Network Planning will drive the strategic framework for the Jewelry category to establish the proper process’ for making the right balanced make / buys decisions across internal and external manufacturing.



The Director of Production Network Planning is also responsible for the Component planning activities. Driving the development, design and establishment of a Component Management Strategy to ensure stability in our network and ensuring we can meet the agreed service levels to mitigate risk on Component and Supplier level.



In order to succeeded in this role, the Director of Production Network Planner needs to build up and continuously improve relationship and close cooperation with various internal and external stakeholders in order to continuously improve process and communication.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT


In the role you will report directly to the VP Supply Planning and your main duties will be the following:


- Manage the multi-cultural global Production Network Planning team. Attract, develop and retain talents and ensure a consumer centric and goal-oriented mind-set.


- Be a key player in a truly vertically integrated business model. Balancing cost, quality and service across multipole dimensions and horizons.


- Initiate and drive the relevant activities to ensure that the production networks at all time are able to deliver the quantitative and qualitative products the consumer require


- Engage with our Strategy teams and Product teams to ensure that our network is balanced and fit for purpose over the strategic horizon. Safeguarding that the supply chain continuous is aligned with the business needs


- Develop, design and establish the Component Management Strategy at agreed service levels to mitigate risk on Component and Supplier level


- Newly establish, implement and drive the allocation process of the Watches Production Network


- Participate in various Pre-S&OP meetings across different categories and be a key member and presenter for the executive S&OP


- Build up and continuously improve relationship and close cooperation with internal and external   stakeholders of the Swarovski Crystal Business manufacturing network


- Implement and continuously enrich our defined Production Network Strategy securing the operational enablement of our business strategy.


- Monitors in cooperation with Sourcing and Quality Management the performance of the internal and external manufacturing network and initiates any required action steps in alignment with Sourcing


- Be a key member of the Supply Planning Management team. Driving synergies and collaboration across the total global end to end planning process.

WHAT WE EXPECT


To fulfill these tasks, we are looking for a person holding a Master’s degree and bringing +10 years of professional experience at a senior management level. You have a strong management know how, leadership and stakeholder management skills. You bring deep understanding of end to end supply chain management and manufacturing network allocation and component management. You are a positive thinker, a good communicator and can think and act strategically. You are self-motivated and can deal with pressure, while keeping calm and focused. The ability to orchestrate make / buy decisions between functional areas, strong organizational, problem solving and change management skills as well as strong process management skills are among the assets that will help you excel at SWAROVSKI. ​
