Paralegal (temporary contract), Lausanne - Switzerland

Given its continuous growth, SOPHiA GENETICS is looking for an enthusiastic Paralegal to join its legal team. As part of the legal team, you will assist the Senior Counsel and Counsel in day-to-day matters. Most notably, you will:

• Provide administrative support to the Legal team;


• Be responsible for the analysis of information and substantive developments that pertain to the companies composing the group;


• Revise standard agreements to validate their compliance with SOPHiA GENETICS’ standards as well as compose letters and correspondence;


• Ensure proper filing of legal documents in the company’s system;


• Follow-up as appropriate with the relevant parties to ensure that the contracting process runs smoothly and efficiently;


• Provide assistance with IP, corporate, data protection and commercial administrative and legal matters.

Qualifications:

• Outstanding organizational skills are critical for the success of the candidate in this position;


• 1-3 years of experience as a paralegal or in a position where candidate has gathered legal knowledge is required;


• Work experience as a legal assistant or a paralegal;


• Full proficiency in English required, French desirable;


• Must be allowed to work in Switzerland;
