Manager Content and Delivery Management

This role will drive the design and development of learning resources (incl. online digital) to grow and build the PMI Operations curricula. The role requires a multidimensional approach, working with subject matter experts to identify new and relevant content, designing innovative learning experiences and working with internalexternal production capabilities to implement effective solutions. This is a role about project management, learning design and stakeholder engagement and reports to the Head of Capability Building Operations. The total team size: 2 managers + 1 head. The role has currently no direct reports. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Strategy and Planning (in conjunction with the Head of Capability Development) o Ensure that learning activities are aligned with the Operations’ strategy OGSM o Design and deliver people development strategy, ensuring that required learning is delivered and critical capability GAP’s are closed o Align Ops capability development with overall PMI learning strategy o Manage innovatively external partner to develop appropriate trainings and interventions for the capability development o Managing the design, development and delivery of a range of integrated learning and development solutions. Sourcing appropriate methodologies, and delivering training and facilitation to staff as required. o Manage the internal trainer community o Manage Ops capability processes and activities to ensure consistency and efficiency of the learning in Ops o Working with subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze business needs and identify new content for development o Analyzing learner needs and trends, to identify insights for better design and engagement o Acting as a project manager to build and coordinate end-to-end plans for design, production and communication – using short cycles and quick timescales • Solutions Design o Designing learning experiences that are contextually relevant, pedagogically engaging, impactful and effective o Managing the production of diverse learning assets using internalexternal capabilities (including vendor management where necessary) o Managing the production process with SMEs to ensure validation of content and flow o Act as a subject matter expert for learning design, advising diverse stakeholders on the best approach to implement learning solutions that respond to specific business needs KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • Deep understanding of adult learning and instructional design, with curiosity regarding cutting edge developments and evolving best practices • Experience in learning and development either in a large organization or a consultancy • Experience in instructional design • Experience of designing using a variety of digital learning formats and techniques: videos, e-learning (SCORM, HTML5), infographics, gamessimulations, podcasts, virtual classrooms, gamification etc. • Experience of using Fuse Universal • Experience in dealing with stakeholders internal and external • Clear, concise and engaging communications skills • Desire to embrace Fast Forward ways of working where appropriate, ensuring our customers are at the heart of our decisions and taking an experimental approach to learn, adjust and improve • Ability to facilitate training sessions, with strong understanding of how to choreograph learning environments effectively • Ability to “train trainers” and maintain trainer community • Strong project management skills • Critical thinking ability to proactively develop future capabilities that need to be addressedApply now
