Thermo Fisher Scientific is actively seeking a Sales Operation Analyst.
Your responsibilities
Sales Administration
Independently, manages general and complex administrative tasks following guidelines and in defined time frames
Ensure the the TDX SSF product lines are streamlined for the order to cash, including but not limited to the tracking of shipments, the solving of custom clearance issues, payment collections and maintaining all the documentation. This requires frequent interaction with the US finance team in South San Francisco
Interact with the order entry Team in Los Angeles to secure and track delivery of the One Lambda product line
Become the SAP expert to provide quotations for members of the European Team
Travel to support the team to include Europe and US at 25% of the time
Prepare Weekly, Monthly dashboards for the commercial team and be accountable for the integrity of the European CRM database
Marketing & Support
Organize and Support the US marketing team in organizing European meetings and events (Tradeshow, User Group Meeting etc.)
Participate in team meetings, take, draft and properly archive minutes and follow up on action items to ensure they are completed on time
Customer Support: Ensure proper case filing in the region and ensure follow-up on closing cases.
Project Management
When a specific project arise and the qualification of the person is aligned with the required skills, the person might be proposed to run a project including initiating, planning, executing. E.g, the project might be transfer of the German accounting system to SAP or change the logistic process in the Nordics from actual to direct.
The distribution between the various tasks will be based on the needs and the person’s skills
Requirements
More than 5 years of professional experience
Previous professional background in administration, Project Management, logistics
Degrees accepted: University Bsc, Msc or equivalent
French and English fluent (one of these two languages must be a mother tongue and the other must be fluent (C1 level minimum)) and one or two additional language would be a plus
Good IT proficiency, SAP, Salesforce or any programing would be a plus

Independent, able to take decision when required
Capacity to be flexible: adapt to people as well as situation
Ability to prioritize
Ability to work under pressure and deliver your work in a timely manner
Dynamic and open-minded
The person will report to the European Sr. Sales Manager with dotted line to the Sr. Manager, Commercial Operations in Los Angeles, CA.
The normal hours of work are 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. The role may require to work outside these hours as may be necessary for the proper performance of his/her duties and the work may require to travel occasionally in or outside of Europe.
Your employment will be based at the company’s office and / or home office.
