The Swiss-based family owned company Bühler is a global, industrial solutions provider for processing foods and manufacturing advanced materials, contributing to food security and high energy efficiency.
Around 65% of the worldwide harvested grain is processed on Bühler mills, around 50% of all car taillamps or headlamps are getting metallized on Bühler machines. Every day, billions of people come into contact with Bühler technologies to cover their basic needs for foods, mobility, or communication.
Our Project Support Supply Chain team is seeking to hire a Quality Engineer FAT with a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

Duties


  • Manage the planning and execution of an appropriate FAT (Final Acceptance Test) in customer projects with all involved parties at Bühler sites and 3rd party suppliers

  • Ensure a smooth and proper planning and execution of the FAT aligned with the business, the project, manufacturing and the client

  • Review the quality section of the customer contract

  • Function as the main contact person for the client during the FAT execution

  • Create and issue the FAT report and checklist (to be signed by the client)

  • Clean punch list items out of the FAT

  • Manage the release after the successful completion of the FAT

  • Participate in kick-off meetings and project progress meetings

  • Ensure compliance with Bühler related directives and EHS standards, as well as all quality requirements or conditions out of the customer contract
Qualifications


  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree or higher education in Quality Management or a related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Quality Engineer or proof of sufficient skills

  • Ideally with technical knowledge covering multiple disciplines

  • Strong planning, organizing and priority-setting skills

  • Strong interpersonal and team-working skills, sound judgment and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a highly structured and organized manner within an interdisciplinary environment and a matrix organization

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in an international environment

  • Very good oral and written skills in English and German

  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite especially Excel and Power Point

  • Highly proactive, driven, motivated and flexible

  • Willingness to travel abroad
