Actelion is a leader in the field of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Our portfolio of PAH treatments covers the spectrum of disease, from WHO Functional Class (FC) II through to FC IV, with oral, inhaled and intravenous medications.


 


Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate hedging calendar and requirements within the MRC

  • Collect currency exposures for planning cycles, incl. consolidation and analysis

  • Analyze and disclose monthly financial results

  • Lead monthly hedging review meeting

  • Leverage TM1 FX Tool for end-to-end currency management

  • Perform BS reconciliation for Blackline OCI accounts

  • Prepare and manage monthly BS hedge process, including effectiveness calculation

  • Prepare hedge accounting entries

  • Monitor monthly cash reconciliation controls

  • Create and maintain users in UBS banking application

  • Prepare cash flow statements for actual and planning cycles

  • Manage in-house bank and netting processes

  • Establish strong collaboration and alignment with all relevant stakeholders, incl. COEs

  • Ensure clearing and reconciliation of accounts payable- AP2 PLE & Concur accounts

  • Execute local manual exceptional payments: Social security, VAT, Cust. not setup on P2P, Payroll

 
Candidate Requirements Education:      

  • University degree (Master/Bachelor) in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent

 Job experience:         

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a treasury/hedging analyst

 Skills:

  • Good team player, open communication, both verbally and in writing

  • Customer focused and ability to build strong collaboration

  • Ability to work pro-actively, independently

  • Pro-active, flexible, stress resistant, accurate and results oriented

  • Takes personal ownership and full accountability for results

  • Sense of urgency and ability to take appropriate action

  • Good knowledge of excel, reporting systems and knowledge of SAP

  • Fluent in English
