Responsibilities include, but are not limited to



  • Lead support for Cross Portfolio business cases for P&MA decisions

    • Lead support for Hem-Onc Franchise for Corporate Market Access Committee (CMAC) and other business cases

    • Participate actively to CMAC meetings preparation and decisions as required by business needs

    • Lead the assessment of price changes on revenues across markets

    • Contribute to the launch of new markets via P&MA analytics

    • Assess and develop pricing proposals, pricing research and pricing guidance in collaboration with the disease P&MA Lead.

    • Support setting of List price/ASP targets and ensure performance tracking via KPI reporting/dashboards


  • Provide Support for affiliates:

    • Improve affiliates P&MA capabilities by listening to their needs and providing continuous training to the different tools (Global Pricing & Reimbursement System (GPRS), contracting tools, etc.), terminology, and company processes.

    • Ensure regional price forecast accuracy and alignment with affiliates

    • Responsible to ensure accuracy of price certificates for affiliates

    • Ensure that affiliates are using correctly GPRS and following the right price approval process

    • Ensure data accuracy within GPRS


  • Support the development and implementation of new pricing capabilities in collaboration with the Corporate Pricing & Market Access team


Skills/Knowledge Required



  • 3-5 years’ experience in P&MA, ideally in global/regional role

  • Understanding of payers and their perspective in key markets, as well as trends in Pricing & Reimbursement

  • Can communicate health economic evidence to non-experts – Understand the role of real world evidence and comparative effectiveness

  • Understands & applies collaborative negotiation techniques  (formally or informally)

  • Understands and can communicate pricing principles, price types and price waterfalls across channels; can perform price monitoring and analysis, understands competitive price landscape, reference pricing system, parallel trade and HTA assessments as they relate to price formation, keeps abreast of developments in these areas

  • Can define and communicate an overall pricing strategy for a product in the geographical scope of responsibilities, including

    • Pricing guidance, frameworks, and policies

    • Launch pricing and optimal launch sequence

    • Indication extension, loss of exclusivity (LoE), contracting and tender pricing



Competencies Required



  • Strong analytical skills and excellent excel skills

  • Strong Business acumen and strategic decision making by providing recommendations based on robust analyses with clear & distinct options and ability to articulate the long term implications for each option and fit within the wider strategy

  • Strong negotiation skills with experience of putting P&MA strategies into practice with external stakeholders

  • Effective and clear internal and external communication skills, with excellent business English (written and verbal)

  • As a Celgene representative to key external stakeholders, good social skills and a representative appearance is essential

  • Teamwork with a positive attitude

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing priorities and timelines, balancing short-term urgencies with long-term importance.

  • Ability to collaborate internally with other global functions (Medical Affairs, Marketing, Finance & Business Planning, Market Access, Corporate affairs) and affiliates to influence, support and meet the needs of a large variety of stakeholders

Prerequisites


Demonstrated experience inpharmaceuticalP&MAin the areas of Hematology, Oncology, Immunology or other innovative and complex treatments.
