Private Equity, Operations Manager, Administration

SYZ Capital is looking to expand its team with an Operations Manager with Compliance and Finance expertise to specifically assist the firm’s daily operations, support management and the investment team with deliverables and communication.


The Operations Manager will play a key role in coordinating the teams, overseeing the outsourcing of risk and compliance and reporting directly to the CEO and supporting him with the company’s finances. The manager will assist the firm with all external communication and leading operational projects in all aspects, front to back office. Highly cross-functional role, this position requires a well-rounded individual with entrepreneurial mind.

Your missions

Oversee regional office daily operations:



  • Oversee compliance matters and liaising with outsourced risk manager

  • Oversee fund operations liaison with Middle and Back office

  • Manage local HR duties, accounting/finance and support CEO with budget and reporting

  • Management of office organization and layout

  • Administrative support to local investment team, roadshows, meetings, events

  • Management of marketing reports and merchandising

  • Relationship with third party service providers


 


Project Management:



  • Lead compliance effort and report to Board of directors for risk and compliance

  • Lead and maintain IT tools and processes, such as CRM database and investor reporting systems

  • Assist and implement marketing and communication projects

  • Review and assist team in deal and investor documentation drafting and communication

  • Assist investment team with reporting, comprehensive bi-annual operational and valuation report

Your profile

Professional experience:



  • Bachelor Degree, MBA and/or CPA preferred 

  • Legal background preferred

  • A minimum 5 years of experience in financial services administration, preferably risk and compliance

  • Proven experience in managing service providers and managing a budget 

  • Strong experience in generating high quality reports and presentations

  • Project Management skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • High integrity, independent and individually motivated, Team player

  • Alternative Assets or Private Market experienced preferred

  • Fluent in English with ideally proficiency in one or two other languages (preferably German)
