As our UX/UI Lead, you will work on creating and deploying the visual language for our IoT-enabled web and mobile service apps.

Responsibility

Your responsibility will be to create outstanding user interfaces and brand experiences for our products. By delivering pixel-perfect designs, interaction prototypes, and design guidelines, you will become an important part of the production process. You will work closely with UX Designers, engineering teams and Product Owners to develop and ship new features for our product.
You will report to the Head of the IoT LAB within Group R&D and closely partner with cross-functional teams and experts in our organization. This position requires an experienced developer with technical expertise, a high level of energy, enthusiasm and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based R&D environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate the UI/UX design of the Bobst IoT  B2B ecosystem


• Conceive coherent UX designs: discovery, user roles creation, user flow creation, user stories


• Create UI designs: screens and flows to accurately capture components, pages and features


• Liaise with internal and external partners for development and desig


• Ensure constant quality and multi-device compatibility


• Usability testing, creation of audit reports, identification of improvements potential


• Provide tools to monitor apps usage and enable their improvement


• Promote software development best practices: agility, knowledge sharing, short release cycles


• Collaborate with experts from Group IT, Group R&D and Business Units

Requirements

• Bachelor or higher degree in graphic and user interface design, with strong background in both graphical UI and UX


• True passion for designing beautiful, usable and elegant user interfaces for B2B enterprise products


• Basic understanding of native mobile app language (at least one of the following): Java/Kotlin, Objective-C and Swift, React Native, Xamarin


• Good knowledge of the main guidelines (Google's material design, Apple's Human Interfaces Guidelines)


• Working knowledge of one UI/UX tool (e.g. Origami Studio, InVision, Sketch)


• Understanding of agile software development lifecycle tools and best practices


• Be able to handle situations with unclear specifications, and work with business on clarifying them


• Understanding of industry-related constraints, needs and vocabulary


• Team player who enjoys working and cooperate with development, design and business teams


• Proficiency in English, French an asset.
