Quantitative Analyst, Ads Quality

Minimum qualifications:



  • PhD in Statistics or Econometrics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience in the analysis and modeling of data.

  • Experience with R, Python, or MATLAB.


Preferred qualifications:



  • Relevant industry or research experience.

  • Familiarity with both classical and Bayesian inference.

  • Familiarity with experimental design principles.

  • Ability to draw conclusions from data and recommend actions.

  • Demonstrated willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques.

Using analytical rigor and statistical methods, you mine through data to identify opportunities for Google and our clients to operate more efficiently, from enhancing advertising efficacy to network infrastructure optimization to studying user behavior. As an analyst, you do more than just crunch the numbers. You work with Engineers, Product Managers, Sales Associates and Marketing teams to adjust Google's practices according to your findings. As a Quantitative Analyst at Google, you research, develop, and apply analysis methods to understand the performance of our products and derive recommendations for product decisions. Analysis projects are a key driver in all product areas and typically offer analysts the opportunity to work side by side with software engineers, product managers, and other analysts.
