For the Pharmacology Group within the Center for Radiopharmaceutical Sciences we are looking for a
PhD Student
in the field of targeting of extra cellular matrix
Your tasks
The project aims to target extra cellular matrix proteins using specific peptides. You will be responsible for the preclinical biological evaluation of these compounds, which will include the development of new methods as well as applying established protocols like SPECT and PET imaging. Embedded in a bigger scientific network you are expected to strongly interact with scientists from different fields and be responsible to coordinate your experiments with them.
Your profile
We expect a Master degree in the field of pharmacy, biochemistry, biology or related fields and high interest for interdisciplinary work and a big curiosity for biological mechanism. The successful candidate is expected to have good social skills for working within a team of people from different scientific fields. Research experiences abroad would be of benefit and fluent English is required.
